Let’s talk about dermal fillers
A filler consultation looks beyond a single line. Talk about the areas you notice, how your face has changed, and the result you hope to achieve. Tatiana will assess your anatomy and explain whether a filler, a different approach, or waiting makes sense.
Dermal fillers are injectable materials used to add volume or improve the appearance of certain folds. Products have different ingredients and approved uses. Your consultation should identify the exact product, treatment area, and reason for recommending it. [1]
Your treatment, explained
The lips, cheeks, chin, jawline, and folds around the mouth each need a different assessment. A change that suits one area may not suit another. Explain whether you are hoping for more definition, a fuller appearance, or less visible folding. Tatiana can discuss the relationship between these areas rather than treating every line in isolation.
Not every filler is approved for every location. The proposed product and its patient labeling should be part of your consultation, especially for delicate areas around the eyes. Previous filler matters too: bring the product name, approximate date, and treatment location if you have them. [1]
Your treatment, explained
Tell the practice about allergies, prior injection reactions, bleeding problems, and medicines or supplements you take. Mention recent dental work, illness, or inflammation in the proposed treatment area. Do not stop a prescription to prepare for an aesthetic appointment without speaking to the prescriber.
Before leaving, ask for written aftercare and a number to call with concerns. Allow room in your calendar for visible swelling or bruising. A follow-up conversation is more useful than judging the result while the area is still settling.
At your appointment
Discuss facial balance and the relationship between areas, instead of choosing a treatment from a photograph.
Bring reference images to explain your preferences while keeping expectations grounded in your own anatomy.
Review the amount proposed, the cost, expected recovery, and follow-up before choosing treatment.
Recovery and follow-up
Know what to expect before you book.
Some changes may be visible soon after treatment, but swelling can affect the early appearance. Ask when your provider wants to review the settled result. Duration depends on the product and treatment area. [1]
Suitability & safety
Bruising, swelling, tenderness, and lumps can occur. Unintentional injection into a blood vessel can cause tissue damage, vision loss, or stroke. Severe pain, unusual skin color, or vision changes after injection need immediate medical attention. [1]

Get to know your providerBefore you decide
Bring questions about lips, facial folds, or changes in volume. Product labeling and your anatomy determine whether a specific area is appropriate.
Fillers address volume or contour; wrinkle relaxers reduce selected muscle activity. They are different treatments, and a consultation helps clarify which concern you are describing.
No. Reversibility depends on the material. Ask about the exact product, what can be done if you have a complication, and the limitations of correction.
There is no standard amount for every face. Request an individual plan and written estimate before treatment.
Yes. A photo can help explain your preferences, but it cannot show how that treatment would look on your anatomy. Discuss what you like about the image rather than expecting an identical result.
Tell Linea the date before scheduling. Bruising and swelling are possible, and you may need time for reassessment. Your provider can help you decide whether the timing is reasonable.
